Guitar Studio
The Colorado Springs Guitar Studio is a relaxing and comfortable space in an office building in southern Colorado Springs close to the World Arena, Fort Carson, and the Broadmoor resort. The Guitar Studio is stocked with resources for for learning guitar and studying and creating music, including a library of of music books, A library of digital guitar, bass, and theory lessons, and software for learning, practicing, and producing that is integrated into most lessons.
Our Story
Colorado Springs Guitar Studio owner and instructor Steve Langemo relocated to Colorado Springs from Dayton, Ohio in 2012, leaving behind a successful private teaching practice, an academic music teaching job, and many steady live playing and recording gigs throughout the region. After brief stints teaching at several now defunct Colorado Springs music studios, Steve saw that the path to a successful private lesson practice in the region was to operate his own business. Steve found a great office space in southern Colorado Springs and and built a full-time schedule of of private guitar and bass students within several months. The last ten years has seen Steve working with hundreds of music students, from beginning guitarists to musicians that play and record professionally. Many former students have gone on to professional playing and teaching careers, and many have been accepted to music schools around the country, including Berklee College of Music, Belmont University, University of Northern Colorado. In 2023 the studio schedule is always near capacity with over fifty in-person guitar and bass students and online guitar students in Germany, Switzerland, and other places. Plans for 2024 include updating the studio’s audio and video production hardware and software, and to resume live student showcase performances.
